The Candidates

Obey Out has been tough (we believe rightly so) on Jeff Tyberg lately, but we wanted to give him some positive blog time. Tyberg (as well as Reid, Green and others) will be at the Northwoods Republicans Reagan Day Dinner this weekend.

Check the candidates out, and decide who you would like to represent you in Congress. Then get out there and work hard for them for the next 12 months.

We have links to the candidate websites here on Obey Out. Because as you may have guessed by the name, we would prefer to elect a new Representative next November.

I actually haven't met Tyberg, but I have talked to Reid. I think when people see him this weekend, they will see what I did, someone with a real chance to win. Just compare the two websites, the difference in quality of those sites speaks volumes. We should all get behind Nick now.

I do agree that there is a difference in quality of the two websites, but have you actually taken the time to read what Tyberg has said. He seems to be everything Obey isn't. Nick Reid seems to long to become just what Obey is - a career politician. Give Tyberg a chance, he has a positive message and is NOT a politician.

Really bob, do you know how much Nick Reid spent on his website. Maybe it says he cares enough to do something right.

I've also noticed from a couple of your other posts that you think Reid wants to be a career politician, why, because he took a low paying job in Washington to learn how things work so he could put that experience to work for the people of the Seventh District and to be able to go toe to toe with Obey when they debate.
