There were some shaky moments frankly, but Obey was so bitter, mean spirited, nasty, and arogant that I think that will be what people remember who listen to it. Remember in 2000 when Gore was busted for all those sighs and stuff. This was a 1000 times worse! I can't wait to see these two head to head on TV.
You are telling me. And what was up with Obey constantly clearing his throat right into the microphone everytime Reid was making a strong point? Hopefully he will get that taken care of in the next few weeks so his voice can be ready for the agonizing concession speech that he will be giving on the evening of November 7th.
While Nick didn't hit a home run, he clearly made Obey uncomfortable and angry - uncomfortable in that he knows he is out of step with the district and angry that Nick would point it out.
