Obey at Home in Madison
This fluff piece proves Dave Obey is still most at home in Madison. Our favorite line from the article,
Rep. David Obey is impressed by the job House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has been doing for the Democrats.
For those of you who may not know, Nancy Pelosi is from San Francisco. She has one of the most liberal voting records ever compiled in Congress. She stands for a set of values that are completely foreign to us in Northwest Wisconsin. She sets the agenda for the Democrat Party, and Dave Obey likes what she's doing. This is proof once again that Dave Obey is out of touch with us. He'd rather work for the liberal special interests in Washington, DC and San Francisco, CA.
Let's rise up against his poor representation of us in 2006.

Dear Mr. D Scott,
I think this is an important blog. I wish you had a contact method. I wanted to point out there is no way to get from the Archive pages back to the main blog home page.
I'd also like to submit for your consideration that you should not remain anonymous. Although you may have good reasons you haven't stated those reasons on your Profile page. It would pay to at least state why you feel anonymity is important to you.
Anyway, other than those 2 minor criticisms I'm really glad to see someone feels the same way I do about Dave Obey.
I've been a resident of central Wisconsin for 8 years and I've always felt that Dave's district has suffered because his political strategy is a loser.
His loyalty to the Democratic party is strong enough that the leadership knows they can ignore him. And the Republican party knows they won't get the time of day so they also can safely ignore him. At the end of the day the 7th District gets the shaft because Dave Obey doesn't know how to bring home the bacon.
If he wasn't so predictably liberal Democratic then he could parlay his considerable experience into real economic gains for the district.
In any event his time is up, he's been on a free meal pass for most of his adult life and it's time to have Dave spend some of that OBSCENE congressional pension money.
