Deconstructing Dave III or More Ridiculousness from Our Congressman
Some weeks Dave Obey gives us a few things to talk about, this week, we're finding them faster than we can get them on the blog.
On Tuesday, Obey voted against this legislation to speed the application process for new refineries.
As we've said, Obey continues his drive for $4 a gallon gas.

Dave Obey is out of touch with Northern famly issues. He is well healed, sits on a hefty pension, has health insurance for the rest of his life. He lives in the Washington DC area, his wife resides there, his sons were educated there.
Why did he not send his children to school in the 7th Congressional District that he represents. Are our schools not good enough for the Obey kids. He has property in Wausua, Washington DC and a cabin by Ladysmith. Must have one good income. Certainly lives better than the people he represents. Where are our jobs, pensions and life long health care.
Obey wants to keep us poor and dependnent on government subsidies, that way he can scare people into voting for him, by constantly saying that without him in Washington we would lose all our government benefits. Hogwash, he scares people into voting for him. My message to Obey is this: Dave Obey send us jobs and health care not lip service and blame the Republicans for all the woes. You have been there for 37 years and our problems are worsening not improving.
Obey out is right!!!!!!!!
Don't forget Obey's winter home in Arizona. And if he retires now he gets to keep a big chunk of his campaign warchest. We can only hope the Northern GOP can get it's act together and take this guy out!!!
