The Seventh District Race got a boost today when the leading national conservative blog, www.redstate.com, highlighted it. Warning to Tyberg supporters, a Reid supporter submitted this entry. We will highlight the non-Reid specific parts of the entry here.
It's an unprecedented opportunity to knock off Obey, who is far to the left of his district. Obey is the ranking Democrat on Appropriations and has made it a habit to try and tax and spend us to death. He called the federal marriage amendment "ridiculous" and voted against it twice. He was rebuked by his Catholic Bishop for his anti-life stands. Obey sponsored legislation for public campaign financing. And, Obey voted against the House immigration bill.

Why are you hiding the Reid stuff Obey Out? Let's face it, Reid is generating interest in this race, not Tyberg. He should get credit for it.
We need to get the blogosphere going in this race. Why don't you start a 527 Obey Out?
Wow, this is great! This should be a lesson to those of you still holding out for Tyberg. National people are getting excited about Nick's campaign because he is the first candidate in 40 years to run a SERIOUS campaign against Obey, and they're noticing. He's worked hard and done the right things here, and the district is a lot closer than most people thought. We finally have a shot!!!!
Over 20,000 conservatives a day visit that site. That's a major coup for Nick.
It's just a pipe dream Reidites.
You Obey supporters just keep thinking that. I hope you're all overconfident while the rest of us send him into retirement.
