Where's Tyberg's June 30th Report?
We thought maybe Tyberg received special dispensation from the FEC, but our understanding of the rules was right, that he has a June 30th report due. It was supposed to be postmarked on July 15th.
The FEC has now hit Tyberg with a failure to file notice. OOPS.
According to the notice, Tyberg faces civil money penalties for every day he does not file.

another example that proves the Tyberg campaign isn't being run in the type of professional manner that could actually win in November.
I caught wind that some Tyberg supporters were upset that too many party leaders were supporting Reid. If the fact that Tyberg can't even figure out when to report to the FEC doesn't prove EVERY Republican party leader should be supporting Reid, I don't know what does. Oh yeah, he's raised more money, he's got 3 campaign offices and a full time campaign staff, etc, etc, etc.
Too bad Nick and his team aren't the types that would nail him for this, because the way his campaign has been run, he deserves it. Just imagine what would happen if Jeff were facing off against Obey and this happened. Dirty Dave would have him thrown in Jail by now. Just further proof that we need to have a campaign that has it's act together to take on Obey.
Look, Jeff is a good guy but this is an example of what everyone has been talking about for months now. Running for congress in a 20 county district is too big of a job to do for one person by themselves. Mistakes are bound to happen, but thingslike badly mispelling press releases cannot. And now this, a very serious mistake. When you've got someone like Obey who will pounce on any mistakes you can't afford to be making them all the time. This should be an eye opener to anyone who stills clings to the belief that you run a campaign like this and win.
